The last few live art outings people have asked purchase my watercolor palette. I use scratch watercolor paper when mixing colors or to water down the color on the brush pen.
It didn’t make sense to me until I saved a few and looked at them together. Here are a few.
Rob at Rowdy Scallywags wanted to exercise some tools and shots, I figured to do a live art thing. We used my buddy Amer from Console Clone‘s track called “Video Dead”
Hope you dig it. Please comment if you do, or if you don’t.

Here are some new additions to the DCastr’s Bar card series! Some are art trades I was lucky enough to get at the Wilmington Artwalk I participated in. All of my cards are for sale. Unfortunately, the art trades go into my personal collection and are not for sale.
Progress is constant. I hope to find more time to post it!
Thank you for veiwing.
Today’s productivity showed itself in the form of practice. I was invited to my friend’s kid’s birthday party. He was turning 8 and is into Lego Chima. Zeek (the kid) asked if I would do Chima art stuff for him and his friends. I said why not. I’m always awkward at family parties. Drawing gives my an excusable reason to keep to myself in a corner. He asked if I could please not draw vampires or werewolves because he didn’t want to scare anyone, so naturally I had to draw them but only between the Chima art so no one would see it. I decided to watercolor Chima. After painting and giving a few to his friends I began to wind down. Zeek came by to check up on me and started rummaging through my covered monster drawings that I inked in ball point pen. He asked if he could have one. I reminded him that he asked me not to draw them because they were scary (Zeek is not a horror fan at all). He said that a bubble neck, bullfrog looking, lizard face monster I drew was not scary and he preferred that over a Chima painting I made. I learned today I can’t draw other people’s stuff better than my own. Seems like an obvious thing to realize, but I just did. Here’s the progress I walked out with:
Cragger from Legends of Chima
A Cheshire Cat
A Hat Demon
A screaming weirdo
